We cover a deliberately tight radius around our Scarborough shop. Here is exactly where, and what the housing in each area tends to need.
MLH Drywall Taping Painting Inc has been based on Scarborough Golf Club Rd since 2018. We work across Scarborough, Toronto, North York, East York, Markham, Pickering and Ajax.
That list is shorter than the one a lot of contractors advertise, and it is short on purpose. Drywall is not a one-visit trade. Mud has to dry between coats, so the job needs several trips, and after the paint goes on there is nearly always a small touch-up somewhere. A crew that has driven ninety minutes to reach you is a crew that will find reasons not to come back for a twenty-minute fix. Staying close is what makes that return visit easy, and the return visit is the part most people actually judge a contractor on.

Toronto
Condo units where the building rules matter as much as the drywall, and pre-war houses where the walls are plaster over lath rather than board.

- We come and look at the actual space. A price given over the phone without seeing the wall is a guess, and guesses get revised upward.
- Asbestos testing on older ceilings
- On any house built before the mid-1980s we recommend testing the ceiling texture for asbestos before a scraper touches it, everywhere we work. We would rather delay a start date than rush past it.
- Licensed and insured
- Including the certificate of insurance that condo property managers will ask for before they put you on the schedule.
- Permit honesty
- We will tell you at the quote whether your job needs a permit, and we will not start work that should have had one.

No. Everywhere listed on this page is inside our normal working radius and the quote is the quote. If a job sits outside it, we will tell you before we come out rather than folding a travel cost into the price quietly.
