About MLH Drywall Taping Painting Inc

MLH Drywall Taping Painting Inc has been finishing walls and ceilings across Scarborough and the GTA since 2018. We work for homeowners on residential renovations and for businesses on commercial drywall, painting and tile projects, and in both cases the work is judged the same way: by how the wall looks once the light hits it.
We are a drywall company first. That is worth saying plainly, because a lot of the trades that quote on drywall treat it as the rough step before the finishing trades arrive. Taping and mudding is the part of this job that decides whether a room reads as finished or as almost finished, and it is the part we are known for.
The rest of what we offer grew out of that. Customers who had us board and tape a basement kept asking who was going to prime and paint it, lay the floor, tile the bathroom, or frame the last partition wall. Rather than hand them to someone else halfway through, we took the work on. That is why the service list runs from framing through to paint, tile and flooring: not because we are a general contractor, but because a half-finished room helps nobody.

How We Work
The Habits Behind a Clean Finish
Most of what separates a good drywall job from a bad one happens before anyone opens a paint can. These are the steps that get skipped when a crew is rushing, and they are the ones that show up on your wall six months later.
- We check the light first
- Seams that look invisible under a work lamp can telegraph badly under a window or a row of pot lights. We look at the room the way you will live in it, then decide how far the finish needs to go.
- Coats get time to dry
- Compound shrinks as it cures. Sanding or recoating too early is what produces the ridged, wavy seams people notice from across the room, so each coat gets the time it needs.
- We protect the space
- Floors, furniture and fixtures are covered before work starts. Drywall dust travels, and cleaning it out of a finished room afterwards is far harder than keeping it out.

- You get a clear breakdown of cost and timeline before anything begins. If something genuinely unexpected turns up behind a wall, you hear about it before we act on it, not after.
