Who we are

This website is operated by MLH Drywall Taping Painting Inc, a drywall, taping and painting contractor based at 567 Scarborough Golf Club Rd, Scarborough, Ontario M1G 1H5. You can reach us at (647) 531-8731 or mlh.renovation727@gmail.com.

What this website collects

We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site. It records things like:

• Which pages were viewed, in what order, and for how long
• An approximate location, usually accurate only to the city
• The device, browser and screen size used
• How you arrived: a Google search, a link from another site, or a direct visit
• Whether you tapped a phone number, a WhatsApp link, or the quote form button

This is reported to us in aggregate. We do not receive your name, your exact address, or anything else that identifies you personally from analytics, and we do not attempt to work out who an individual visitor is.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets two cookies in your browser, _ga and a second one beginning _ga_. They hold a randomly generated number that lets the service tell a returning visit apart from a first one, so a person who reads three pages is not counted as three separate people. They expire after two years, and they are the only cookies this site sets. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not run retargeting pixels, and we do not sell or share visitor data with anyone.

The quote form

The quote form on our contact page does not send anything to this website or store anything on it. When you submit it, the details are placed into a draft email that opens in your own mail app, addressed to us. Nothing is sent until you press send yourself. The name, phone number, email address and project details you choose to include then sit in our email inbox, and we use them solely to prepare your quote and to get in touch about the work. We do not add you to a mailing list.

Opting out

You can stop analytics from recording your visit in a few ways:

• Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, which blocks it across every site you visit
• Block cookies for this site in your browser settings, or browse in a private or incognito window
• Turn on the tracking protection built into browsers such as Firefox, Safari and Brave

The site works normally with analytics blocked. Nothing on it depends on those cookies.

Third parties

Analytics data is processed by Google, and their handling of it is covered by the Google Privacy Policy. The site is hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs including IP addresses for security and reliability purposes. Clicking our WhatsApp button opens WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta under its own privacy terms.

Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to mlh.renovation727@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. Since analytics data is not tied to your identity, such a request in practice concerns emails and messages you have sent us directly.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site collects information we will update this page and the date at the top of it. This policy was last updated on 2 September 2026.
